Salah Offers Statement to Liverpool Dressing Room, Discloses Curtis Jones
The Liverpool midfielder has shared that Salah apologised to the group of players after the fallout from his recent interview.
What Happened
The striker was dropped from a European match following criticising the club and claiming his relationship with manager had broken down.
“He speaks for himself and he can say his own stuff,” Jones told Sky Sports. “His apology was clear and was like: ‘If my words hurt anyone, I'm sorry.’”
The head coach has refused to disclose on whether he received a personal apology from the player.

Jones insisted that the dressing room atmosphere was unchanged. “Nothing about him changed, he was smiling and it was business as usual,” he continued.
The midfielder also implied that a player's desire to start is preferable. “I get that there are specific approaches you can handle situations,” he said. “But if a lad’s fine to just sit out, then I think that’s concerning.”
Team Form
Their results have been impressive in the matches since the situation. The player is convinced the Salah's words were never meant to harm the team.
“In moments of frustration, the source has been from a desire to win,” Jones concluded. “It's behind us and we’re gelling well as a team, performing and on a positive run.”
